Jefferson’s annual tree trim was a holly jolly good time! Laughter echoed through the hallways as ornaments were carefully hung. The tree, a towering beauty, sparkled with colorful decorations, while festive music set the perfect atmosphere. It was a heartwarming occasion that truly captured the spirit of the season, leaving everyone feeling merry and bright.

We are proud to recognize two exceptional individuals who have impacted our school community: Mrs. Lisette Tello, our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year and Mrs. Juana Romero, our 2024-2025 Educational Services Professional of the Year.

The Jefferson School celebrated Thanksgiving with a special gathering for our faculty and staff. The event provided an opportunity for everyone to come together, share a meal and express gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the entire team. It was a wonderful occasion to strengthen community bonds and reflect on the spirit of giving and appreciation that defines the holiday season always reinforcing the sense of teamwork at our school.

The “Financial Literacy” workshop, led by Alex Taveras, offered parents valuable tools and knowledge on managing personal finances, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners for providing our students with their very own pumpkin patch! Your generosity made it possible for them to enjoy a memorable day of fun and learning. We truly appreciate your support in creating such a wonderful experience for our students!

The Jefferson School celebrated “Week of Respect” with a variety of daily themed student activities! “Week of Respect” is a state wide initiative in all schools designed to bring an awareness of respect and bullying prevention.

The Jefferson School celebrated the Week of Respect with a variety of daily themed student activities! One of the activities planned was a visit from Omega Man on Super Hero Day! He taught us to be a leader, a dream maker and to make good choices everyday! We also enjoyed a sport-themed day because we are all proud to be a team at this school.
