Our Third and Fourth Grade students recently participated in Jefferson School’s First Annual Spelling Bee. All participants did a phenomenal job and our overall wInner will go on and compete in next month’s Hudson County Spelling Bee.

Congratulations to the amazing staff and students for this excellent holiday show. It certainly brought a smile to everyone in attendance.

The 3rd and 4th-grade science project focused on egg parachutes. Students designed and tested various parachute prototypes to protect an egg from cracking when dropped from high places.

The Thomas Jefferson School celebrated our Annual Breakfast with Santa event. We even had a visit from the Grinch whose small heart grew three sizes that day and then the true meaning of Christmas came through. It was a very enjoyable day.

The Jefferson school concluded our holiday cheer week with our annual show directed by Jose Rodriguez, our Music Teacher. Thank you to all parents that attended. The students rocked the show! A special THANK YOU to Santa for coming to our school, and also to our administration team, teachers, and staff for making our students experience a spectacular one! Happy Holidays to all!

"I traveled through the seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest past the Sea of Twirly Swirly Gumdrops and then I walked through the Lincoln Tunnel to the Jefferson School". On the third day of Holiday Cheer Week, Buddy the Elf came to visit us from the North Pole to celebrate Elf Day. Oh what a treat it was!

On the second day of our Holiday Cheer Week, our Second Grade students enjoyed reading and watching the movie, The Polar Express in their pajamas. The students drank hot chocolate with marshmallows and even received a special gift from Santa.

Thomas Jefferson School students and staff enjoy some fun activities during our holiday cheer week. It started off with our Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest 2023.

The Jefferson School would like to thank our parent volunteer Caroline Overstreet for organizing a toy drive for some of our students. The toys were donated by Sons of Liberty Lodge #301 F & A, M. We are truly grateful to the Liberty Lodge for making our students faces light up during the holiday season.
