Biography
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Jahaira Ortiz. I've been part of the Jefferson family for seven year. I had worked with young children since 2005 and have experienced in third grade, pre-k and preschool education. I believe teaching is an opportunity to inspire all children, to help them believe that all things are possible, and that they can all make a difference in this world.

Classroom Procedures and Policies
Stay Connected – We will be communicating via email and through ClassDojo. Kindly check your email in a daily basis. Parents please subscribe to my page to receive notifications on what's happening in our classroom.
Homework – Homework will be sent home from Monday-Thursday. Please help your child complete their homework, projects, and send them back to me the following day.

I am so excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. I am thrilled to get to know you and your child.
