Ms. Carreira, Grade 2 - After reading, Spookley the Square Pumpkin, students created their own unique pumpkin and wrote why their pumpkin is special. Spookley helped us discover that the things that make us different are the things that make us special.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. Ms. Bristol's class and Thomas Jefferson School dressed in pink in support of families who have been affected by this disease.

Mr. Petric, Science - Grade 4 students explored alternative energy by creating solar-powered vehicles.

Ms. Castillo, Grade 2 - Ms. Castillo's class worked on a math project to demonstrate what they learned about arrays. Each student made an array using household items. Then, the projects were used to form a city!
