A Polar Express Celebration! Mrs. Saroli, Grade 2 - Mrs. Saroli's students BELIEVE in the true magic of Christmas! They read The Polar Express story and watched the motion picture.
"The Polar Express" Ms. Carreira, Grade 2 - After reading "The Polar Express," students in room 205 wrote detailed narratives describing their experience on the Polar Express with transition words to signal event order.

Student Holiday Basket Raffle! The TJS PTO kicked off the holiday season with a student holiday basket raffle. A student from each grade level was a winner! Congratulations to all the winners!
Landform Diorama Projects! Ms. Carreira, Grade 2 - Students in homeroom 205 wrote facts and created dioramas or posters to illustrate landforms and bodies of water. They shared their projects with the class.
