Thank you to the Union Hill Middle School for visiting our Jefferson School's Chess Club! Union Hill Middle School students joined Jefferson School students to share their ideas and strategies in chess. Chess leads to higher retention skills, problem solving, and calmness under pressure. Mr. Campodonico and Mr. Portugal facilitated an excellent session that was educational and motivating for the young players. We look forward to future collaborative sessions.

Students in Mrs. Saroli's second grade class celebrated Earth Day by planting their own plants and creating Earth Day posters. Students also learned and wrote about things people can do to help the planet Earth and explain why it is important to celebrate Earth Day every day!

The Thomas Jefferson School celebrated "Bring Your Child to Work Day". There was a parent/child breakfast, a musical performance by our music club, followed by numerous activities for the children. Everyone had a great time!

The Jefferson school celebrated National Administrative Professionals Day! Thank you for everything you do to help us successfully run the building. We appreciate you!

The Thomas Jefferson School would like to thank Ms. Carreira, Second Grade chairperson, for preparing the Perfect Attendance Certificates for our students. We are proud to present the Third Marking Period Perfect Attendance Awards. These students have attended school on a daily basis and are always on time.
Student attendance is extremely important because students who attend school on a daily basis are more likely to succeed academically and socially! We are proud of our Jefferson Jaguars!

The Jefferson School celebrated the Week of the Young Child with Free Expression/Painting with Kindergarten friends. It was truly enjoyable.

The Jefferson School celebrated Read Across America this Spring and one of the activities was a reading contest. These are the winners that read the most books from their class in the month of March.

Recently, the Jefferson School celebrated Autism Awareness Day by wearing blue. LIGHT IT UP BLUE 💙

The Thomas Jefferson School would like to thank Sara Slavin from the Pedialyte Corporation for donating samples of the Pedialyte AdvancedCare Plus Powder to help our students stay replenished and hydrated during sports activities. It was very informative.

The Thomas Jefferson School would like to thank Mr. Steve Luker for providing our students with an entertaining and educational show regarding the importance of fire safety. The Fire Safety Show used fun magic, comedy and student participation to engage them on numerous important life saving skills and information. Our students were engaged and the learning was essential. Great show!
