Jefferson School Shows How They Stand-Up to Bullying and Respect Each Other

For the Week of Respect, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School worked together to create a large puzzle filled with student artwork and messages of respect. Each class was given a large puzzle piece to design individually as a class. On the Friday, October 5, 2018 all the classes were invited out to the playground to march in Respect and show off their class puzzle piece. Dr. Williams spoke to the school about the importance of Respect. Mr. Celebrano was the first to place his puzzle piece down and all the class’ followed his lead until all 28 were laid out on the floor. The puzzle pieces fit together to create a colorful patchwork of positive messages and love.
