Jefferson School Students Show Off Their Lego League Skills

Jefferson’s First Lego League Junior group showed off their Robotics Skills.  These twelve students from grades 2, 3, & 4 get together as part of the Union City Robotics K-12 program once a week under the supervision of their science teacher, Mr. Petric and 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Martinez.

 Students work in groups and independently to solve challenges that explore real-world scientific problems.  This year the students will concentrate on Hydro Dynamics.  These challenges help the students learn about teamwork, science, and technology which is also part of the First Lego League Jr. Core values.
