Jefferson Students Honor Veterans, Thank You Veterans!

Than You Veterans!
Saturday, November 11, 2017, Americans celebrated Veterans Day.  The Federal Holiday pays tribute to the brave men and women of the United States armed forces who give their lives to protect our freedom. This includes everyone who has and is serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National and Coast Guard.

The Veterans in Attendance where Mr. Philip Failla (retired US Air Force who is the grandfather of J. Castillo a 4th grade student and Mr. Walter De La Cruz (reitred Marine) who is the husband of Miss Olympia a classroom aide at the school.

Also honored were both children of Mrs. Olympia De La Cruz, Richard (currently serving in the Marines stationed in Louisiana) and Christopher (currently serving in Dubai in the Air Force).  Another proud mother is Mrs. Fransisco, parent liaison of Jefferson school whose two daughters Ana and Camila (both currently serving in the Virginia Naval Base).
