Students from Ms. De La Torre's Second Grade class have written Christmas Narratives that fall under Priority PARCC Writing Tasks. In addition to this type of writing, the students incorporated technology by having their voices recorded while reading their narratives and creating a QR code with teacher guidance/support.
The students were then able to listen to themselves and their fellow classmates by using a QR Reader app. They enjoyed using their iPads and scanning the QR codes. They now request that all their writing assignments require creating QR codes! :)
