Ms. Ortiz’s STEM Program classroom was selected to receive a 2020 HESS Toy Truck STEM Kit. HESS Ambulance and Rescue Truck explore practical transportation issues, such as force and motion, road surfaces, and map skills as they relate to emergency medical services. In the upcoming weeks, students will explore inclined planes, measuring distance, angles, and friction. These first graders are so excited to see what their rescue vehicles can do. Congratulations!
