Hispanic Heritage Month - The Grade 3 teachers Nadine Galasso, Rosa Guzman, Veronica Journett, Yuly Bristol, and Art Teacher Ashley Cintron collaborated on a Hispanic Heritage Month activity. Students watched a video of the story "Silly Billy" which explained the origination of the Guatemalan tradition of "Worry Dolls". The students created their own worry dolls to tell their worries to and place under their pillow when going to bed.
