Biography:

Hello! My name is Yuly Bristol. I am delighted to be your child's teacher at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. This is my fifth year as a special education teacher at Jefferson School. My passion for teaching children with special needs makes me enjoy every minute I spend with my students. As a teacher and individual,  I believe in the importance of being a patient, caring educator dedicated to providing each student with the tools and guidance necessary to help them maximize success. I have had the privilege of working for the Union City School District since 2012 at all grade levels, and I desire to continue to grow to better benefit students.

I'm available to meet with parents and guardians to discuss student's progress or concerns.  Please call the parent liaison at (201)348-5960 ext. 78503 to schedule an appointment.

Classroom Procedures and Policies:

Our class will have a folder system which will be our best way of communication.  You should check it daily to see if there are any letters or papers that need to be returned to school.  For any money or check being sent in the folder, please send it in an envelope with your child's name and amount.

Homework-Assessment, Test and Quizzes

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  I will advise you in advance for any unit test or quiz that will be given to your child so you can review the material at home.
